What excites me most about my profession: I have worked a lot on professional development within Ethos this year, and watching the growth within the staff and management team has been the most rewarding experience! We really have the most incredible team.

One piece of wellness advice that I actively follow: I move. I love taking classes, and I make myself a priority for one hour a day, where I shut everything down to work out. It makes me a better teammate, wife and mother.

My personal “ethos”: humility

What excites me most about my profession: As a trainer, seeing the overall health progression of my clients. One of my favorite moments is when I get a text from a client telling me how a real life experience is different because they feel more capable from the work we do in the gym.

As Director of Fitness, I would say what I love the most is being able to help others find their roles within our team. Helping individuals grow to find what they love to do is a pretty great feeling at the end of the day.

One piece of wellness advice that I actively follow: Create your boundaries- take time for yourself DAILY. It is okay to say no to someone or something.

When someone leaves my class, I hope they feel…WORKED (in the best & most positive way). I want you to feel like you were able to finish the class because both you +I pushed to get there. By no means do I want you to walk out thinking "well, that was easy." Challenge is GOOD for us. I think you all know I like to challenge you guys :)

What excites me most about my profession? I get so excited to share what I’ve learned through my wellness journey with others. I love watching things “click” for people, whether that’s a new movement or skill, a tool for self development, or a quote that’s exactly what they needed in that moment.

One piece of wellness advice that I actively follow: I am learning that there is an art to balance. With effort, there always needs to be ease, with intensity, softness. Finding the line between these two in all aspects of health including mental, physical, nutritional, etc is key.
